IT took a couple of seconds before Prima was able to move on her feet. She leaped from her seat and ran to the door where her mate exited.
She did not bother to check the splatter of coffee stain in her shirt.
She found no Carmen outside the door or within the area.
The tall woman ran in the direction of the cabin. Her heart pounds harder when she saw no one in the living room.
She opened the door to their bedroom.
No one was there either.
“Find the Luna in the territory.” Prima ordered in the mind link to the IT staff when she saw no one in the patio.
The alpha took the phone out of her pocket.
Since she found her mated again, a mobile phone is always in the pocket of her clothes. It was the only way she knew how to contact Carmen.
