Ryker's POV
"I told you that you were pushing him too hard."
"We don't know if that's why he collapsed. The doctor said he was dehydrated, and it looked like he hadn't been taking care of himself."
"Because the mate bond broke, and his mate is hurt! Of course, he'd be more focused on taking care of his mate!" someone scolds in a hushed tone. What's going on?
"How was I supposed to know he wasn't feeling good? He never said anything." My dad whisper yells back.
"Because you're supposed to use your brain!" my Mom argues back in a whisper.
