"They're already asleep," Kaylin reassures me.
"I meant to help you guys out." I sigh, running my hands thru my hair in frustration.
"It's fine. We didn't need help. Charlotte was a big help. Isn't that right, sweetie?" Violet says, ruffling Charlotte's hair, who is clinging onto Violet's leg, nervously watching my every move.
"It's not like we were totally useless." Steven teases his mate.
"I didn't credit you for a reason." Violet retorts.
"It's a full moon this week. It's not like we are going to leave our mates alone if we have a choice." Micah chimes in. "Also, dude, you look like you've gone crazy."
"Cause my mates been asleep for three days, and it's a full moon this week!" I growl. Who knew that her trying to use her shield in her sleep would still tire her out
