Ryker's POV
Surprisingly Alyssa stayed awake while landing the plane. She just sat quietly eating her goldfish and occasionally smiling at me. I've missed my sweet mate.
Now that the plane has landed, we are ready to get off. Micah and I stand up at the same time and start gathering the bags. The pilot walks and opens the door to the plane, lowering the stairs for us. "We got as close as we possibly could in the air. We still have to drive for about an hour and a half to get to the closest town. Then we are in for a hike." Micah explains.
"A hike." Gigi mumbles.
"Weren't you the one that always encouraged Luke and me to get out in nature growing up?" Kaylin comments.
"My hiking days are long past me." Gigi comments.
"Don't worry, Mom. It's just a nice, relaxing walk thru the forest
