I walk into my bedroom and close the door behind me. I lean against it as I breathe out a sigh of relief.
I touch my stomach as the nervous energy I felt all day disappear.
I wasn’t sure how things were going to go once Xavier arrived. And then him and Vic disappeared together after Xavier went to his room. Not that I was any better, I ran to my room too, giving myself time to calm down after he hugged me like I belonged to him.
Thank God, everything went fine. And he didn’t seem like he was still angry with Vic.
