"If you are not careful," Elizabeth smiled at the minion, "Your face might freeze that way," Elizabeth said, feeling a rush of charged air forming around her. David felt it too and stepped away from the two women. He had heard Elizabeth leave the house earlier and had been on the verge of following her when Agata had come down. The status of the lone human in the household of vampires was uncomplicated, at least in his opinion, she was off the menu. It had not been a complicated thing for him to absorb.
