Bailee’s POV
I’ve been home a week and my parents have cleared out Lauren’s old room so that Travis can have his own space again. My son seems completely unbothered by the fact that his father hasn’t come to see us. Not once has he asked when we are leaving and each day finds him getting more comfortable with the pack and my brothers and sisters who have all been over to see him.
Isaac even brought his daughter over for a short visit whilst Raelyn was resting and my little guy was equally as taken with the new baby as his own sister.
‘Mommy! Payton has a best friend!’ he’d declared excitedly.
‘Yeah, they could be’ I agreed as I ruffled his hair.
My son shrugged, ‘they will’ he replied confidently before returning to playing with a jigsaw that my father had dug out of the back of a cup
