Warrick’s POV
All day I have been trying to work, but was not able to. All I could think about was Evan and pounding Jaxon’s face in. Hadley has been laying down. She is extremely sore from training, so I couldn’t even have her company to distract me from my thoughts.
I look up and see that it is finally time for dinner. I almost bolt up, wanting to see Jaxon and what he has been doing today. I just can not seem to wrap my head around why Jax wants Evan. He was waiting for his mate. I don’t understand what changed.
“Maybe he realized that she is perfect in every way.” Viggo says dreamily, then growls, remembering why he was talking about Evan. Another man wants her and it shouldn’t come as a surprise, she is pretty great. But dammit to hell if I’m not jealous as sh*t.
