Kate decided that getting away from everyone and stretching her legs a bit was a good idea.
Terry had made the strategic error of leaving his keys in his car with the gate guards. “I’m just off into town for some ingredients I need for lunch,” had proved sufficient for Kate to steal his vehicle.
