“Is this Rang Jin-ho?”
“It is,” Rikka’s translation echoed Jin-ho’s voice.
“This is Kate Stark.”
“Ms. Stark,” his voice shifted from intense caution to supreme pleasure. “Are you well? Never mind. I can only presume that this is not a social call.”
“I regret that, but no. I need a favor.” While still a marine Captain, Rang Jin-ho had offered to do Kate a favor in exchange for elevating him into the leadership council of the North Korean money-laundering Office 39.
