Elise's pov
"Are you done yet?" I asked for the thousandth time in the last hour, he was still cooped in his office working like there was no tomorrow and very successfully ignoring me. I rolled my eyes at his lack of reply and took matters into my own hands, I slid closer to him on the couch we were sitting on and wrapped my arms around his shoulders which brought the desired reaction out of him, he turned to me.
"What are you doing?" His eyes trailed over my arm around him but then went back to his stack of documents instantly earning a silent groan from me.
"What you aren't, how do you think I feel?"
"What do you mean Mia Cara?"
"I talked to Ellen today, she's doing fine and," I hesitated a bit before spurting out, "They already marked and mated each other."
