Having him close to me felt like an unrealistic dream at the moment, his lips on mine felt heaven on earth and his arms were like paradise holding me tenderly in its beauty.
His lips moved in a swift motion over mine and I almost cried in relief once again, unfortunately that moment of love only lasted a few seconds before he pulled away from me leaving an aftertaste and pleasurable tingles on my lips.
"We have to go home Cara, let's sort this out and get the hell out of here." I nodded and let him carry me all the way to where the lab was, memories of the time I spend there in pain made me flinch, that obviously didn't go unnoticed by my mate and he stopped. His forest green eyes searched me for any sign of pain or injury.
