Alarous' Pov
I felt her shifting in my arms and immediately tend to her sleepy figure by caressing her face, sweat covered her forehead and her breathing was harsh against my body.
"It's okay Mia Cara, I love you. I'm right here." I coo in her ear in a whisper to calm her down. It was the third time in the past hour, she would mumble incoherent words or crying silently. She was having nightmares.
Helplessness was the only thing I felt besides anger at the moment as I tried to calm her breathing and wake her up from the scary trap she was in. I couldn't do anything to erase the things she saw in he mind and that made me angry at everything that lead up to this moment including myself.
I want nothing more than to hide her away from everything in this world and keep her save in my arms
