Aiden’s POV
“Can I get you another one?” the woman behind the bar asks with a soft smile.
I look down at the half finished beer in my hand and shake my head.
“No thanks. I’m good.” I answer politely, casting my eye back around the bar carefully.
I can feel her eyes continue to survey me closely as she lingers near by, wiping down the surfaces around me.
“I haven’t seen you around here before.” she says curiously, dropping the cloth and leaning on the bar casually.
I turn to look back at her and smile.
“I’m just passing through.” I shrug lifting the beer to my lips again.
She follows the action with her eyes and nods her head.
“Ahhh… shame.” she answers with a hint of a smile.
