I gather a few more wine glasses together on the long table and I smile to myself as Ben says goodbye to the last man to leave the party.
“Yeah… yeah I’ll miss you too, Uhh-“

The door closes and I turn to look at him as he leans his back on it, closing his eyes.
“I don’t mean to sound ungrateful, Sulky, but please make that the last party that you ever throw for me.” he says, opening his eyes to look at me as I perch on the edge of the table.
