Emily's POV
The loud bang caused by Thomas' fist connecting to the hard wall was soon followed by the undeniable feeling of instant regret and shame coming off him in waves.
I almost chuckled at his childish actions, but I remain wide eyed seeing the real Thomas for maybe the second time since I've met him. His sister and father are less than impressed, but the don't bother saying anything. It doesn't take a genius to notice that he's comparing this situation with the time he lost his mother, so if he wants to break his hand by punching walls, then so be it.
