Chapter 32 - The Fire
Emily's POV
"That was dad's PA who just called from his personal phone." Lucy whispers, appearing to be frightened. Indeed, Albert's PA would call from his phone unless something bad happened to him. With the condition that his health is, my mind goes to the darkest place.
Lucy's face looks tired all of a sudden, her eyes are filled with fear and glassy, like she is trying to comprehend some awful news. "There was a fire at the chateau..." My first thought about Albert flied out the window and was replaced by the same amount of fear, but for Camille.
Understanding that if there was a fire at the chateau, Camille is the most likely to get hurt, I immediately start praying that she is alright, not having the courage to ask the question out loud.
