Argh, my neck... I groan silently trying to adjust my body into more of a human position. I must have fallen asleep on this chair, but despite the stiff neck and aching limbs, I had the best sleep of my life knowing that I am the hero in someone's story. Emily fell asleep peacefully after I tucked her in my bed and all thoughts I previously had about women sleeping over flew out the window. Not for a second had I been annoyed to have her here, on the contrary, it feels Goddamn good to have this woman allow me to be her safe haven.
