TUESDAY
Soft giggles could be heard in the silent room as they emptied the spray paint on the wall, the school's wall.
No one was there and there wouldn't be anyone entering the premises for another hour or so.
They took the chance to paint the front wall for their art class.
Though both of them knew they will get in trouble for it later, they just couldn't help themselves.
Both of the kids were lean and had sharp ears, one of them had black curly hair and big dark brown eyes which is often confused as black while the other had blonde hair and sharp blue eyes.
Vanessa and Victoria.
If someone told Vanessa she would be hanging out with and person she would consider as a friend a few months ago she would've simply ignored them.
Yet she couldn't understand why she trusts the person next to her either.
Its like her heart wants to except both of them- Elizabeth and Victoria, and her brain complied.Well not exactly complied but since she couldn't get them off of her back, she might as well just let them in.
Neither Victoria nor Elizabeth could explain why either.
About half an hour later she both completed their masterpiece and dropped the spray paints and massaged their numb hands exhaustedly.
They looked at their masterpiece in front of them and bursted out laughing unable to hold it in.
Vanessa clumsily picked another spray can and wrote their name at the bottom left corner.
The graffiti was a pair of boobs with wings. Representing their principal with flat chest.
And gave them an 'A+' themself.
"Looks like we passed in art class." Victoria snicker.
"Victory finally, partner in crime. And all it took was spray paints, a wall and numb hands." She said dramaticly.
"And a trip to my office. Meet me after school." A very familiar voice said angrily, shocking the both girls making them stand still.
The principal glanced at the painting one last time, red in the face, glared at them and left.
"Of all the teacher, we had to get caught by the person who doesn't even know what sense of humour means." Victoria fake cried making Vanessa snicker.
Unfortunate for her the principal heard them and was infuriated.
'These brats won't learn no matter how many times you give them detention slips.' She thought.
AT THE END OF THE DAY
2nd MARCH, 2018
PRINCIPAL'S OFFICE
'I thought we were supposed to meet each other again in detention. Why are we here." Victoria asked quietly, completely oblivious.
Vanessa shrugged and shook her head. Though she didn't know why they were called, she can take a guess.
'The devil summoned her minions to give them some work.' She, nevertheless, whispered back.
Knock
Knock
Knock
Vanessa knocked three times on the door.
'Why are you knocking and not embargo in there like you usually do.' Victoria asked puzzled.
Vanessa sighed in her heart. She didn't get the joke. She thought.
'Devils knock three times on the door.' She explained.
The principal asked them to step in after hearing the knocks.
Alexander was sitting on a chair in front of her with a expressionless face.
The principal tried communicating with him a few times but stopped when she noticed he wasn't interested.
Both the girls entered the room and were quick to notice Alexander's presence.
Vanessa understood what was happening and smiled widely and waved at him while Victoria was still perplexed but was visibly paled.
"Look at what your two daughters have done Mr. Knight." The principal started sternly.
"What did we do." Vanessa chimed in cluelessly and winked at Victoria, calming her, Victoria unsterstood the gesture. Play dumb.
"They vandalized the schools property." The principal gritted out glaring at them.
"Vandalize? We? I think you got the wrong person Mrs. Malls." Victoria said.
"Vandalize? what does that mean?" Vanessa asked doubtfully.
Alexander was amused by the scene unfolding in front of him while the teacher looked like she wanted to pounce on them if she had the chance.
"I'm not sure but it sounds like it's something illegal." Victoria explained.
"But we only slept throughout the day." Vanessa said.
"Sleeping is illegal." Both the girls said in unison looking curiously at the principal. The principal was dumbfounded by their behaviour.
"But everyone sleeps." Vanessa asked in an innocent voice.
"Are they all committing a crime." Victoria said in the same tone.
"We don't want to go to jail." Vanessa said desperately and got on her knees.
'What the- you little b***h, I ain't getting on my knees for the bitch.' Victoria thought with a sheepish smile.
Alexander laughed out loud by the kids when Victoria didn't play along with her. The principal who started to pity the children initially was infuriated understanding this was one of their antics and wanted nothing to do with them.
"You both are expelled. Get out of this school." She said trying to keep her composure.
Vanessa had a bright smile of her face.
Victoria just yawned clearly bored.
Alexander dropped them home after that.
Elizabeth who was attending her online classes on her laptop when they entered.
"How was your day." She asked while taking down notes from the screen.
"Best day ever." Vanessa started.
"We got expelled." Victoria ended.
"I will be in my room." She continued.
Vanessa was worried for her friend as she knew it was her fault Victoria's mood was damped.
Elizabeth was slightly concerned about her but thought its best to give her space.
Vanessa waited for a couple hours before marching towards Victoria's room.
When she was about to barge through the door like she usually does she hesitated when she heard sobbing from the other side of the room.
She instantly felt guilty.
She opened the door slowly.
"Hey Vicky." She started.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked you to paint the walls with me when I knew there was a chance we might get expelled. I didn't know school meant that much to you." She apologized sincerely.
Victoria who was sniffling and hicupping, wiped her tears and patted beside her.
Vanessa understood the gesture and sat on Victoria's bed.
"School never meant much to me. Its just my mom wanted me to go there. Now that I'm expelled I....I...feel like.. I let ....her down" Victoria said hicupping in the end.
"I'm sorry. I will help you get back into the school." Vanessa said guiltily.
Victoria scoffed and said "don't be. I know what I was getting myself into. Plus my mom never wanted me to be an assassin yet here I am." She said miserably.
"It must be nice." Vanessa said looking down.
Victoria didn't understand what she meant and looked at her.
"Having a mom I mean. Who cares about you. I don't know what that feels like or if I have one." She said biting her lower lip.
"I am sure your mom loved you." Victoria consoled her.
"Why don't you want to school." Vanessa asked her after a long pause.
"We are murderers. We can't hope for much in this world. People will always look at you for the sins you did and not tend to not concentrate on what made you that way." Victoria said lazily and laid on her bed. "Plus I cried because I will miss my hot crushes." She added cracking both of them up.
"What about your family." Vanessa asked laying on her side and playing with Victoria's hair.
"I have a brother and a father." She said.
"Have as in present tense." Vanessa was shocked and disgusted that her friend's family abandoned her.
"Its not what you think. They didn't know about me.....they still don't. My mom was three months pregnant when she found out she was pregnant again and learnt she was pregnant with a girl.
She didn't let them know she was pregnant and up and left." Victoria explained with a sigh.
"Why didn't you find them after your mom's death. She must've left something to trace it back to them right." Vanessa asked curiously.
"She didn't leave anything behind, not a single clue. Even if there was one I wouldn't have noticed as I blamed my father at that time." She explained.
"Then someone found me and brought me here and I was trained to be an assassin. Now even if I want to I can't go back. They will be disappointed in me." She said sadly.
"It's their lose. Don't be said they don't know what they lost." Vanessa clumsily tried to console her and hugged her. Victoria chuckled.
"I had a friend who said that before." She said reminiscing.
Elizabeth, was eavesdropping from the start, wiped her tears.

TUESDAY
Vanessa excitedly entered their home and barged into Victoria's room.
Victoria who was sleeping soundly was rudely woken up by her and was not happy.
"What the hell is wrong with you its one..... one thirty let me sleep." She said glancing at the clock, exasperated.
"I got you enrolled in a school." Vanessa said jumping on the toes.
Victoria was terrorised after hearing that and flipped the comforter off her instantly and placed her legs on the mattress and got up.
"What did you say." She asked in a traumatized tone.
"School are you happy." Vanessa eagerly said.
"Tone it down a notch I am not going anywhere near that hell hole. Especially experiencing how peaceful my life is now." She said comically.
"What about your mom." Vanessa said bewilderedly.
"What about her. Its my life." She said defiantly.
And Vanessa gave up.
