Chapter Forty Two In which reality felt so far.  - [Ayne Kent’s Point of View]  My father was convicted for the murder of Lucas’s mother.  That information was a hard pill to swallow. Not once did I ever think that would happen. Hearing it from them, and seeing how they were all affected by the trial made me see the other end of this case. It was hard to think about the family of the victim when I was heavily focused on what my father had been through. But now that I have been aware that the family was of a close acquaintance, it was much harder to deal with everything. Father would be devastated when he heard all of these.
