Chapter Forty Two In which guilt and fear combined.  - [Third Person’s Point of View] Daniel was called in an emergency.  Ayana might not know the information, but judging by how distressed Daniel was—she knew that Zana was not in the right mind. Something must have triggered her daughter, so Daniel is more adamant that she won’t be left alone. On a typical day, Zana was used to being alone when she was just staying at home.
