Lucas already knows.
Tristen could feel the sinking feeling in his stomach. His hand touched the tender area of his stomach, slowly pushing himself to sit upright. Seeing the message sent by his friend, it was no surprise that Rhett could have added more information for Lucas. Sooner or later, Tristen already knew that this would happen.
He was sent here for a malicious reason, and Ayne wouldn’t be thrilled hearing this.
“I think she would want to personally do this to me,” he breathes, head resting on the couch as his eyes moved to the ceiling. Knowing what was to come did save him some space to think about what he had done with his life. “How long am I going to live as somebody else?”
