Madison POV When I dived into a pile of snow at the side of a bush, it was to avoid the mercenaries coming fast down that trail. They ran past me, not one glancing in my direction. I had not expected any to, when in my wolf form I was almost invisible to most, I watched them pass me by, and I got the idea in my head, to go over to the bridge and see if more were coming, or if this third wave was the last.
