‘Calm down son.’ Dad growled at me for maybe the one-hundredth time, when Madison told us where she was, I could not believe she would have done such a stupid thing. How reckless was she to go into unknown danger like that? My wolf was prowling and growling and making my already anger rise higher, and I found it almost impossible to calm down. I could have lost my mate. I think that was what scared me and my wolf the most.
