I had just come back with dad from stretching our wings. It felt so good yet still a bit unreal that he’s alive. I never in my wildest dreams thought that I would be flying side by side with my dad. I could also feel how happy Ari is. I know she never met my dad, but had our memories, but being here and now with him… I knew it meant everything to her, just like it meant everything to me.
We walked together towards the castle and I my mother, Mrs. Angel, Mrs. Kesha, Nana Yashira, Mrs. River, and Monica rushed towards me. All of them had broad smiles on their faces. Mom kissed dad on the lips then pulled back.
“Xavier and Benny want to see you in their office” mom told dad. Dad nodded and kissed the top of my head and left.
