Xavier and I stepped back as Kiera stood. Jennifer walked towards Kiera with tears in her eyes and gave her a hug.
“I’m going to be a grandma” Jennifer smiled tearfully.
“Yes. Surprise” Kiera grinned, her hand unconsciously going to her belly.
“I have a surprise of my own", Jennifer smiled. We all knew what the surprise was.
“What is it?” Kiera asked, tilting her head slightly. Jennifer didn’t answer but just looked behind Kiera. Kiera turned around and when she saw her dad in front of her, she fell to her knees as tears began to stream down her face. She couldn’t believe what she was looking at. I could feel it through the bond. Markos knelt in front of her and cupped her face with both of his hands. He had tears streaming down his face too.
