The next morning, we gathered for breakfast with Dante's parents, Kamala, and Jalen while workers noisily fixed the patio outside. The other Alphas opted to have their meals served in their rooms.
"Kamala told me what you did yesterday," Jalen said with a light chuckle. "I need to see that in action!"
