A burst of flames erupted all around me..the pure chaos and destruction of what Kamamris had just done caused me to stagger forward as I dropped to my knees beside him.
I felt my wide, shocked gaze travel up and down the length of his limp body. The man I loved with every ounce of my being was now lying eerily still against the cold earth as I reached out for him with trembling hands.
"Kamaris.." I choked, eyeing the sword that was embedded in his chest.
What did he do? How could he..how could he leave me like this? How could he make that decision and think he can just leave me?!
