I watched as Kamaris and Amira floated away, the smile on my face slowly faltering as I felt footsteps approaching from behind us.
"Lord Cinead..do you have any idea what you have just done!" Scholar Alaric rushed out, his blue eyes wide with panic as I stepped closer to Stella.
"I helped an innocent man get his mirror soul to safety." I stated, feeling like I have truly done nothing wrong.
