Chapter 86-Not Him

1795 Words
(Amira) I went to the bathroom and turned on the faucet, letting the deep tub fill up while I went back into the other room. I quickly grabbed the blankets as I began making the bed. Kamaris's scent swirled around me as I smiled softly, thinking of this man that I loved so much. I wondered how much longer he would be as I began taking my clothes off. Every move I made caused pain to shoot through me as my muscles felt like they all were tearing away from my skin. Suddenly I felt a huge wave of magic pass through me, surprise filling me as I looked up. Was Kamaris already doing the shield? That was the only feeling I could associate with that large of magic. I slowly walked to the bathtub, turned off the faucet, and slipped into the tub. The hot water caused me to groan as I laid my head back, trying to relax. I slowly began to wash myself, the sweat and grime from training earlier made my skin feel so sticky when something inside of me began feeling anxious.. I began to wonder what was taking Kamaris so long, it had been almost two hours already since seeing him last. Just then I sat up, hearing the door when a dark presence began filling the room... Something didn't seem right, I slowly stood, reaching for a towel just as Kamaris appeared in the doorway. But, it didn't seem like him at all. His eyes quickly wandered my body as he licked his lips. "Kamaris? Is everything okay?" I asked worriedly. Something was off, this..this wasn't him. I wrapped the towel around myself quickly as he stepped forward. His hand reached for me as fear filled me. Every inch of my body was covered with goosebumps as he stepped forward once more. "Who are you?" I asked hesitantly, stepping back..this wasn't my Kamaris... A wicked smile formed on Kamaris's face, his eyes flashing an ice-blue color I had seen once before...back in Dolus. "You are more clever than I thought you would be." He said quickly, his body transforming right before my very eyes as Donavan now appeared in front of me. "What are you doing here.." I stammered out, fear filling me as I clutched my towel closer to my chest. "Finishing the job Gideon was too incompetent to do." He scoffed and just like that he sprung forward, his arms wrapping around me as I tried to scream out. "Kamaris!" I shouted loudly, prompting Donavan's hands to wrap around my mouth, ruffling my cries. "You can try all you like, but no one will hear you...your Dark Lord is currently preoccupied.." He whispered, his cold breath fanning agaisnt my neck, making goosebumps prickle my flesh. I felt Donavan's hand slide down and wrap around my waist..his palms were freezing, making my body shiver as I tried to think of what to do..if I can thin out of here.. I tried to imagine where Kamaris was..thinking I could go to him but my body felt weak as I tried to reach deep down inside of me for something..anything.. "I had to plan this perfectly..It's funny how you all thought I ran back to Dolus, fleeing like a f*****g coward. But I was here Amira, I saw everything." He whispered into my ear, making bile hit the back of my throat..he was here the whole time? "The way the dark lord pushed you against that wall..you like it rough don't you?" He wrapped his fingers around my throat, making me whimper as he squeezed. Then his other hand began to wander down. "Don't touch me." I choked out and threw my elbow back, hitting Donavan in the ribs as I quickly scrambled away. "You have no idea how much I love a good fight." He yelled behind me, chasing me down as he tackled me to the floor with a thud. His hands flipped me over as he straddled my body, his fingers gripping my wrist as he pinned my arms above my head. I quickly spit in his face, disgust filling me as he laughed, his tongue reaching out and licking his lips. "You havs no idea how bad I have wanted to do this in Dolus..see you wriggling beneath me as fear flashes through your eyes..how I pictured you hanging on that wall down in the dungeon.." He bent down, his mouth mere inches from mine as he reached up, squeezing my face beneath his palm. I tried to move my head away, only making him grip me even tighter. "I knew you were a fighter, you act all meek and innocent, but I saw you Amira, the real you." He said wildly as his eyes darted around the room. "We have two choices, either you come with me willingly, or I kill that woman and her child and I take you forcefully." He said with a teeth-baring grin. Kavi and Namoka..I had almost forgotten they were here as well.. "No please.." I rushed out, the mere idea making my stomach turn. "Then willingly it is." He said, his large hand gripping both of my wrists as he reached the other one down my throat and body. His hands slid along my torso, making my eyes shut tight when I felt a cold chill tremble through me. That's when I peeked down, seeing there was now a shimmering white gown covering me. The fabric was sheer and iridescent and I watched as Donavan studdied me carefully before looking me in the eyes once again. "Too bad we have to trade you, there are so many things I have dreamed of doing to you." He spoke arrogantly, my mind spinning as I tried to think of anything..how can I get all of us out of this safely? "My bind, I will die if I am away from him." I said, trying to think of something to keep me here, to give me more time. Kamaris had to know I was in danger right? He had to be on his way.. Suddenly Donavan pulled out a white bottle, a smile forming on his lips. "You will have to thank the enchanters for this one, they have been working on it for weeks." He said, popping the top off. "Now drink it." He commanded, his eyes flashing as he looked at me. I shook my head no, shutting my mouth tightly as he leaned down, speaking right next to my ear. "You really will kill a child, just to stay with a man who treated you like s**t?" He asked me, humor filling his voice. Kavi..I couldn't let him hurt them..how do I know he hadn't already? "How do I know they are still alive?" I asked, panic filling me as he quickly pulled me up. Suddenly he began tugging me down the hallway, opening their door as I saw Kavi and Namoka lying in bed, their chests rising and falling softly as relief filled me. "Drink it." He hissed into my ear. "Or I will f*****g kill them right now." Suddenly his magic began illuminating from his other hand. It looked like snow flurries circling around his palm. I quickly grabbed the bottle, pressed it to my mouth, and drank quickly. The taste was bitter and disgusting but I made myself choke it down. "Sadly this will probably hurt worse than receiving the bind itself." He laughed as the liquid began to burn my throat. My stomach felt like I had drank liquid fire as it began coursing through my veins. Donavan sighed in annoyance, dragging me out of the room as he placed his hand over my mouth. "No screaming, or I will really have to kill them." He dragged me to my room, closing the door swiftly as he threw me on the bed. He swiftly climbed on top of me, his weight pinning me down as I began gripping at my chest. It felt as if every vein in my body was burning. I groaned out, making Donavan's eyes light up with excitement. "You look so f*****g stunning right now." He said, brushing my hair away from my.face as his cold eyes peered down at me. "Oh, how I wish you could f*****g scream." He said while placing his hand over my mouth. My back arched off the bed as the burning filled me deeper, this pain was unlike anything I had ever felt as I gripped the sheets tightly. Sweat poured from my body as I cried out. Donavan watched with pure satisfaction as I thrashed my head back and forth from the horrible agony. He stroked my face and arms, making me start to choke on the bile that rose up as I turned my head, spitting out a black liquid from my mouth. I didn't even care, my mind was numb, only burning filled me as I was close to losing consciousness. Just then Donavan slapped me across the face, waking me back up as I fluttered my eyes open. "We can't have that now, I need you to feel all of this." His words were dark and disturbing as I continued to suffer through this. Only minutes had to pass but the pain felt like I had been enduring it for hours. I was burning up as he reached out his hands, his palms cool as he touched me...it was almost a relief. "Almost done." He said, looking down at my bind. I began to pant, my breathing ragged as I finally felt the burning reach my heart. "K..Kamaris.." I choked out in desperation when things began to blur. I must have passed out because when I awoke I was now being forced to drink something else. "This will make it so he can't find you." He said quickly, drinking the rest himself. I felt like I could throw up, my body weak as I was unable to move it. Donavan's hands reached out, lifting me over his shoulder. My eyes grew heavy once more as my chest felt empty now. My bind..he took my bind away. Then I knew Kamaris was in danger..I knew if I was taken..Kamaris would be hurt by the bind that he now wears.. In the final moments of desperation..I pleaded to the gods to protect him..I pleaded for them to keep Kamaris safe as I knew it was over. Dalia had won and I would do anything to keep Kamaris and these people safe.. My eyelids became heavy, making my body go limp as I tried to hang on..but it was too late. The pain from my bind being removed caused me to go numb.. Then darkness filled me once more.. **End To Part 1**
