“Carson, do you have eyes on them?” I asked once the two of them were out of my sight. I wanted to rush up the stage and pound his face until it was completely unrecognizable when he put his arm around my princess and forced her off the back of the stage. No one else noticed them slipping out the back of the curtain but me and Carson and I had him follow them.
“No, that mother f*cker was quick but I just heard the back door close. Hang on.” Carson says, and I can hear his breathing pick up through my headphones as he jogs to catch up. “They just pulled away from the back of the building. Do you want me to follow them?”
“No, not yet. If they notice someone tailing them too soon, they may try something we aren’t prepared for.” I
