I awoke with a start. My body jolted out of bed as I looked around in a panic.
'Something's wrong. Where is he?!' I rushed, feeling slightly groggy as I began to search the room hastily.
Sterling was gone... Where did he go?!
'Sterling?' I linked, feeling even more panicked when he didn't respond.
That's when I felt this pull. Our mate bond tugged at my core like a string as I quickly walked to the other side of the room.
'Lumi, clothes.' Cascadia reminded me. I knew better now than to walk out naked, so I quickly grabbed one of Sterling's shirts before slipping it on and headed towards the door.
