"Ready?" Sterling asked, his large hand reaching out for mine as I looked down, nodded my head, and grasped onto it.
The sparks from our connection helped to settle these nerves as my mate smiled, took a deep breath, and turned.
"Let's both promise to try and not kill someone today, shall we?" He joked, causing me to blink my eyes up at him.
I'm not making that promise. I haven't even seen most of the pack yet. Who knows what could be waiting out there for us.
Sterling tugged on my hand, pulling me behind him as he opened the door and stepped out. It was hard not to gawk at his hard, muscular back. The way it rippled beneath his shirt had me drooling in a matter of seconds.
