I stretched my arms above my head. The smell of my mate surrounding me as I couldn't help but smile. This was incredible... Waking up in an actual bed and feeling the blankets and pillows all around me. I hadn't had that in such a long time. It almost felt unreal. Like this had to be some type of dream.
"You're awake." My mates voice drifted towards me. The sound was almost as warm and welcoming as the morning sun that drifted through the windows.
Letting my gaze wander, I found Sterling sitting across from the bed. He had on a light gray long sleeved button-up shirt that was tucked into black slacks. Half of his ash brown hair was pulled back into a bun, and his face was freshly shaven, making my mouth drop. Wow. He looked even more handsome all cleaned up like this.
