Our visit to Kendrell had not panned out the way we hoped. Dad did take his words to heart about leaving Cavir wherever he is. Talbock had also been insistent he was correct on that front. Don't want to send someone to a painful death.
Talbock fortified our borders against most vampires. There is only so much you can do. He had juniper and blackthorn crushed up and buried in the soil all around our borders save the entrance gate. That way Talbock could come in or leave. Like Dad said, one small entry point is better than the entire pack. Royal vampires might still be able to step through the border, but should be extremely painful. Hopefully they will make enough noise for a warning then.
