He barely turns to face me. “You are wolves. We have not been on the same side in a long time.”
Granny moves forward her aura blazing. “It involves your son, Cavir. Are you willing to sit back on your pretentious ass and listen now?”
Seth grins letting out a half laugh. Kendrell spares him a rankled glance that he returns with a challenging smirk.
“And you recognized my granddaughter as the Dawn Wolf a little too easily. I think you’ve seen her with your royal sight too.” Granny is fired up.
“She’s right. You should set your arrogance and pride aside for today. We mean no harm to any vampire.” Addi says her eyes blazing.
Kendrell seems taken aback. “Lunas are never this forward.”
