"She's gone. I have done it. My mother is asleep, and she will not bother anybody again. Well, at least not until somebody finds her body. I hope nobody can find it and remove that stake. We are all safe now. At least for a while, until there comes another villain along, and we have to go and fight them," Ethan says after he has greeted my family and me.
