I do not want to show my fear. I do not know how strong Ethan is because he has been hiding his powers from me. What if he has a secret weapon? Why can he promise the vampire that I will not perish if I do? His men lead my men away. I am not surprised that they are going with his men. It is not like we were friends. They are loyal to me because they think I am the only one who can save them and make them live forever. I know they do not believe in me. They are grabbing at anyone now to protect them from me. They were looking for a new hero, and I know why because I have never treated them like I should have. I did not want them to get too close to me because I wanted them to see that I was the boss. Now I do not have anybody loyal to me, not even my children. I am standing
