AZALEA Willow let out a grown and relief washed over me. She held out far longer than the ten minutes she promised. She moved slowly, bringing her arms under her body to push herself up.  She was still breathing heavily, and her entire face was damp with sweat. “Did you get what you wanted?” she panted. I frowned. I guess I had, even if it wasn’t the outcome I wanted. There was a weight in my stomach. I had gone through all of this for nothing it felt. I lied to Felix, snuck behind Liam’s back, intentionally hid things from my mate, all to end up no further in stopping the people I love from getting hurt.  “It isn’t the worst outcome I could have imagined,” I sighed.
