Lily has been distant ever since she found out about me not connecting with Cage. She started to snap out of it when Junior called her for help with Lyssa. Of course, she went over there immediately, and I caught her on her way out of the packhouse. When Liam and Azalea walked into the house, I knew what I had been thinking was true.
Liam was reasonably distant the following day. I couldn’t tell how Azalea was feeling because she seemed singularly concerned about Liam and the kids.
