The phone rang. Loud. Sharp. Like a final bell before destruction.
Kohina picked it up, her lips curling into a half-smile even before answering. She already knew what was coming.
"Hello?"
A pause.
Her smile widened.

"Suhasini ji…" Kohina’s voice dripped with fake sweetness. "The cops just called… They got the CCTV footage from the hospital."
Everyone in the living room froze.
"Guess what?" Kohina added. "The man who attacked Rivaan… the one who stabbed him that night… it was none other than Samar Malhotra."
