At Kapoor Mansion
Kohina sat on the couch, smiling wickedly while flipping through a magazine Rivaan Kapoor’s cover photo staring back at her like a constant reminder of her failures.
Her phone buzzed.
It was the cop from the police station.
The moment she heard what happened her smile vanished. Shock replaced arrogance.
"What?" she almost screamed.
The cop informed her Rivaan had shut down the case... released Samar Malhotra... and buried the matter forever.
Kohina’s hands clenched into fists.
“I won’t let Vanya have Rivaan. I won’t let her have happiness. Not with him... not in this life... not in any life,” she whispered darkly to herself, her eyes burning with jealousy.
Outside the Police Station
Samar stepped out of the cabin broken, humiliated.
