The pain was unbearable—every breath a sharp, burning reminder of the torment I couldn’t escape. I just wanted it to stop. Why wouldn’t they let me have that?
I didn’t know how long I’d been living inside my head, but it felt comforting not to feel anything—no pain, no sorrow, just numbness. I could stay that way forever. But of course, Hunter always ruins my plans. He won't let me escape this place. He won't let me escape this life. And he won't even let me escape this harsh reality.
And now, I can't even escape his room. He placed me in this connecting space with no other way out but through his room. I can’t even lock the door from the inside. It’s like he has thought of everything, leaving me with no control, no way to escape. Not even in my own space.
