I’m slowly getting accustomed to the tight security around me, though I still think it’s a bit excessive. Despite that, I’ve managed to handle it without disrupting my daily routine or feeling overwhelmed.
Today was no different. I sensed someone following me during my morning run, but I’d learned to ignore it and stick to my usual routine. Afterward, I had a quick breakfast with the group before heading to the office, where a full day of tasks awaited me.
Colton and Theon were a steady presence, and the familiarity of my workload brought a welcome sense of normalcy. Millie and Laura were often busy with their respective duties during the week, but I always looked forward to seeing them in the evenings for dinner.
