“What?” I shout at Dmitry.
He just told me that he is planning on sending Kade to Russia.
“Did I stutter?” He smirks.
“You are not sending my son to f*****g Russia,” I yell.
“It’s his birthright to see his homeland,” Dmitry shrugs. “Come along, dear,” He grabs my arm, and I reel back and slug him in the side of his head with my other fist. He roars with rage and backhands me hard enough to knock me out cold.
I wake up sometime later, lying in Dmitry’s bed. His scent is all around me, and I want to vomit. I sit up and discover my arms are chained to the bed.
With a roar of frustration, I yank on the chains to no avail. Of course, Aria is no help, as she seems to have been blocked from me.
