I floated in the darkness for who knows how long. I came too a couple of times to people talking around me. Dmitry was among them, with whom I assumed to be a doctor.
“Are you sure it’s done?” Dmitry demands.
“It is done,” the doctor responds.
I close my eyes and fall into the darkness again. I don’t know how long I was there this time before I was woken up again.
“Wake up!” Tatiana’s sharp voice and a slap on my bare arm jolts me awake.
