It’s been a week since we won the championship, and I still can’t believe it. Every day, I wake up and it hits me again. We actually did it. The whole team has been celebrating, and so have the students. Everywhere I go on campus, people stop me to say congratulations. I’m proud of what we did, and I’m proud that Kendall was there for every second of it.
Today, though, wasn’t about celebrating. Kendall and I had a meeting with Marcus. I knew it was important, but I had no idea just how big it was going to be.
