I woke up feeling all groggy, with a dry mouth and what felt like someone had dropped half a train car on my right hand. When I could focus better, I saw that I was in a hospital room with Fiona, Matt, Giselle and Anthony around me.
“Please tell me that Megan didn’t die in the accident and that I have been dreaming all this time!”
“You bunch are such drama queens, the whole lot of you!” Dr. M walked into the room and rolled her eyes. “No Star, Megan crushed your hand when she went into labor, remember?”
“Oh, cr@p yes, did that really happen? Is she okay? Why are all of you here? Why aren’t you consoling her??!! She must be so hurt and upset.” I got ready to jump out of bed, but my head started to spin, forcing me to lie back down.
“What are you on about woman?” Dr. M frowned.
