“Moon goddess …” I cried. “How could I have messed up your plans for us so badly? Please give Megan a mate that will treat her right. Break our bond.” Taking a deep breath, I stood up, took off my sweats and shifted. I started running, but the sand started feeling cold and hard under my paws. In the blink of an eye, I was standing on a cobbled stone path. There were big pots all along the path with rose trees in them. Each rose tree's color is different from the next. Sniffing the air, not sure if I should follow the path. Where was I? There was only one way to find out. I had to follow the roses.
