Star Ethan was on the phone immediately, requesting emergency services. “Star, the ambulance is on its way. Why don’t you go look after Giselle? She is not looking good.” Ethan stood beside me and distracted me from the sheer shock I was feeling. I turned to look at Giselle, who was still sitting in the car just staring at the scene in front of her. I ran to her side. “Giselle, sweetheart, are you okay?” Stupid question, Star! I thought to myself. Giselle didn’t move, and I climbed into the backseat with her. “Giselle, she’s breathing, she’s bleeding and injured, but she’s alive for now.
